Genesis vs. Camaro
yup. the new SS was at the local theatre the other day and it was black/black. it did look good, but it's definitely bulky.
i think american cars have really lost the art of using body lines. certain cars still have them, like the vette, new challenger, but some of them are too caught up trying to be edgy and thinking the public wants some new age shit (or something retro all new aged up), that they end up making the car look like junk.
the genesis has a bit of a funky front end (cure it with a better grille), but at least it has a good looking profile.
i prefer smoother looking cars and the big 3 are notorious for putting out stuff that is anything but.

I think the Fusion and the Malibu are way better looking cars, smooth in thier style and with a form that more closely follows their function.
As for mass produced vehicles, the Camaro is very dramatic. Certainly not your run of the mill styling excercises from Toyota and Honda.
I get so tired of everyone bashing the looks of the Camaro (challenger/mustang), when you all know damn well, if it had a honda badge on it you'd be standing in line to swing on it's nuts.
Get over it, so it's rear is a little weird, so what.....the total package is killer and at that price, I can't even understand why we are talking about a Hyundai.

I saw the exact same car at the cobb too. It was probably the same day....The car looked amazing, I was just a little sick to my stomach because they pulled the nose over the curb an entire foot. I'm sure it was all scraped up!
I totally disagree. Have you seen the Honda Accord? More creases than your grandma.

Btw the Stang on the previous page is still sexy as hell! (Even though you know where I stand I can still admit a nice looking car regardless of make/model.)

Maybe your not familiar with the original Camaros?..ever walked up to one? They are slightly larger than a civic. I love the new camaro so much, and they did the retro interior just the right amount I believe.. I love that gauge array in the console, its such a throwback.

The genesis is clean but why would they compare it with the v6 camaro ? they should compare it with the 370z even tho the Z is faster and nicer. I love the new camaro tho
