hey guys im looking into purchasing a 91 3000gt Vr4 and i just wanted to know if there are any problems often occuring in the 3kgts and what i need to look for to make sure the car isnt a junker. any help would be appreciated...

 

I guess that you could just listen to the engine and inspect the body....

look for tread wear on the tires (uneven wear might be an accident)

feel the clutch to make sure that its not slipping.

other than that I have no idea that you can just tell.....

 

also if anyone knows of a website with pics of nice modded 91-93 3000gts...post it up..pics too

This is a link to some reviews by some people that have owned that kind of car...sometimes it helps..

 

Madjetta just make sure the transmission shifts smoothly and that the oil pressure of the car isnt too low.

Maybe a coincidence but im trying to sell my Vr4. Nothing wrong with it im just picking up an old muscle car and theres no point for me to have 2 fast cars. Let me know if you want to look at it go for a spin or just if you have anymore questions about the 3000gt in general...
