Um, yes you do Its just as bad for every car manufacturer. You hear GM and Chrysler in the news more often, but theres plenty of misery to go around.

Honda has pulled out of F1, an auto show or two, and from what I hear, didnt have a fancy unveiling of the new Insight...they just went "ta-daaah."

Toyota posted the first loss in something like 70 years and has been doing some restructuring too. They are finally getting big enough to have some of the same problems as GM; sheer size.

Here's the official numbers. Notice how EVERYONE is in red, even Kia, Hyundai, and MINI.

I hear you. But if it makes you feel any better, Obama gave billions to the banks and to my knowledge he didn't ask any of those executives to leave and they fucked up every bit as much as Wagoner. I have no idea why the media isn't getting all over Obama for it.

Even though Ford here is raping it's european and australian markets for money. I think it's brilliant they didn't take the bailout for this reason. I didn't see this coming, and I'm thinking someone from Ford did (rather than dumb luck). If they were smart enough to foresee that, maybe there's some hope from them yet.

I agree with FF, government should stay out of business, that shit makes me uncomfortable, but I think that the state of America is in today, we need to change the way things are done to fix the last shitty eight years of bush, but I just hope government doesn't creep in and stay, if obama is smart he will change what needs to be changed and then step back and let free market correct itself.

Most of us agree. But when the business goes to the government for help they open themselves up to doing what the government wants.
