CEO Rick Wagoner to leave General Motors

GM's CEO has done much to turn GM around thus far and is still being held accountable for GM's slump which has more to do with the economy and less to do with him or any of GM's products.

This is not good.

gm and the us government made a certain agreement to my understanding in which GM has not followed due to the CEO's guidance. could be a good reason.

Are you kidding? Some of us on this board were calling for his firing four years ago. I hate socialism as much as the next guy and I'm no fan of Obomber but it shouldn't stop with Wagoner, the whole good ol' boy network that kept that loser as CEO should be fired as well.

My apologies to the GM fans here but wake up. Your company has been losing share for years and Wagoner and gang have not been able to fix it. So fire them and get someone who can fix it.

 

apparently you seem to think a CEO has a lot more power than he really does. he didnt really do shit to turn anything around. if credit is going to be given to gm at all(which uhm...i dont think they even deserve it now), then it should be given to the whole board, and the R/D department.

 

The thing the OP fails to mention is they called for his resignation as part of a requirement for an OPTIONAL bailout. If GM wouldn't have been a failure, they wouldn't have needed said bailout and that fuckstick would still have his job.

 

i could care less if wagoner resigns, i think that the government shouldn't be involved with this stuff, specially obomber
