The 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship Thread
First post updated, another strong finish for Brawn, though I do wish the race had continued, I think Barichello could have gained a lot of ground to make it another 1-2 for the team. He was very strong during the race, especially after the start.

What a crazy race. Pits: in out in out in out super soft full wet intermediate super soft...
So much craziness in the week after the Aus GP as well. F1 is always good for some drama to fill the time between races.
I also love how nobody in F1 seems to know what the rules are or what they should be doing when anything even slightly out of the ordinary happens

This is going to be an interesting season. Scuderia Ferrari not doing well, Kovalainen out in the first laps once again. Hamilton wasn't that strong at Malaysia.
I'm really happy for the Brawn boys and Toyota. I wonder how Scuderia will react to these terrible results in the first two races.

Glad to see that Hamilton no longer has the BEST car in the field and actually has to drive to get points. Heikki is seriously having issues
Nelson may not be around much longer if he doesn't kick it in gear and Kaz needs to do the same.
As for the race, It was awesome to watch all the different pits and ongoings, but it was proof that the races outside of Europe need to start early and F-the dam Euro's, make them get up early or stay up late like we do!!! They could have finished the race if they would have started 3 hours earlier. 1 the rain would have been gone, but more importantly, even if it did rain they would have had daylight to complete it after the rain stopped.
Sucks that Glock got bumped back to third based positioning prior to last lap complete.

I was hoping for a spin/crash by Jenson to let Glock and Heidfeld by
I just don't like Jenson. I've been a huge Ross Brawn fan since the mid 90s and am stoked to see him doing well this year, but I can't get over Jenson's doucheness.

^ Or, if your like me, you really wish that it was Rubens having the success instead
