I shift at 2500. Every gear. No point beating the shit out of a car in normal driving.

I usually shift around 4k. Considering i redline at 9k, bringing it up to 5k for shifting almost halfway....IMO not bad at all on the engine. I idle around 1k so shifting at 3 is like grandma driving. I do hit vtec once a day tho to clean out the carbon stuff

It's a specialty engine. It's a duramax diesel block with mustang heads and gsr vtec cams and instead of oil you use jello for lube.


I shift at 3500-4k rpms for the most part. Much smoother transition than 3k rpms it bogs down.
