one local car with a swap'd ca18det meaning not that many people around. this motor is not really swap'd into many cars, if its swap'd into anything it's usually a 240sx, and i barely ever see a 240sx with a ca18det swap. so since they're barely used, if he gets a problem with that engine it might be harder to find help/info to get the problem fixxed. does this engine even put down 200hp in stock form ? i know that he wants to be different, but this just sounds unpractical.

do a v8 swap, have you seen those videos of the volvette ? i don't think you'll regret it.

how about a 13b Rotary. Compact, light, tons of aftermarket, ability to very easily go N/A or Boost... and they're pretty easy to find.

<3 you matt, no homo

...but, to stay on topic, ls based would be neat, as would an f20c, or maybe a ca18det? Worlds of motors comes to mind for that chassis, seeing as I wouldn't mind owning one, but I would stay volvo, have fun with that, then throw something else in.
Joe! lol I figured you'd pop in here.
I think i'm staying Volvo for now. I have 3 turbo blocks on my porch that can handle over 800whp, so why not?

I voted Triton V10, more specifically a 3v. Apparently a 2005+ engine. Just checked to make sure, and fortunately they still make it.
