ok... so.. i hear a bunch of DSM's are going to the track in september. any honda's wanna come out and run with us?

I tried having a event like that years ago and there were no takers.We almost had a Jason(60-1ek) v.s Jerry(lancerman) race but jason didnt show(i think he was out of town).At the september meet we had no breakage hopefully its the same next month.Did you get the studs out?

im getting my talon back running for temporary with junkyard parts, i guess if any hondas want to race, lemme know if you think you can run a dig with a true budget built dsm.

Honda's = reliable but slow stock
DSM = Fast but "high maintenance"
Dsm's require tedious attention to detail, sure, any idiot that can turn a wrench can work on a Honda but its not the same for a DSM.
Like F4A22 said, boost a Honda at 20lbs and see how long it lasts/fast it blows on the STOCK engine. Thats the key word people STOCK.

how is that? what is so magical about a dsm motor that someone with a working knowledge of a honda cant figure out? its not like its a rotary or anything. its a pretty basic 2L dohc turbo motor.

I dont want to drive or own either, but from my perspective:
hondas = reliable and fuel efficient
DSM = break a lot but have TONS of potential. the 4g63 is one of the best 4 cylinder engines ever created. AMS has one over 1300 flywheel. I have seen them run 6's (youtube). 2 grand will get you in the 12s with an awd 1g.
Like I said though. I dont want either.
