Yea but it's no regular nissan, it's the rare edition mulit color panels, overheats after 36 mins of driving with LWD (incase you don't know thats limited welded differential) version.

Where did I say I was defending nissan I am making fun of this, but ok Porsche did their test and claims that the U.S spec GT-R was slower at "the ring". So because nissan hasn't responded to this claim yet it's automatically assumed that they are telling the truth because their name is Porsche and auto makers do not lie. No I don't know anything about automobiles because I just bought a case of blinker fluid and found out there's no such thing as blinker fluid.

 

True. I still cant see 25 seconds being lossed but anything is possible. The only thing the 997 turbo has over the GTR is top speed on the straights, but the GTR makes up for it in taller gearing so it should get out of the corners just as fast or faster than the 997 and better weight distrobution which is damn close to 50/50. The 997 isnt exactly a light weight. Brakes are about the same, weight, traction, gearbox design, ect ect.

The ZR1 already got fucking destroyed by the Viper ACR.

Which was made all the better by chevy actually designing that car to do nothing but the ring. Viper heard about their time, and rented the track for half a day with 3 ACRs, they beat the time in under 3 hours with a car not designed for the track. Win.

pretty bold claim since the ~300hp r33 does it in 7:59 stock, when porsche says the ~500 hp r35 does it in 7:54.
