Royal purple is the way to go IMO. I'm doing the first oil change on my swap today with it. There was a side by side comparison of like 15 different oils done with a spinning bearing sitting half in the oil and a loaded friction plate on top of it to simulate pressure and friction. Royal purple and some other brand ive never heard of protected the thing way better than anything else, it took something like the equivalent of 109,000 psi to break the oils surface and scar the bearing. The scar was only 8mm long, compared to the other oils (i believe castrol was one tested) which left from .5'' to 2.5" scars. Plus, its purple.
