wow those welds are shitty!!!! you should have them redo the exhaust and work something out with them to get Formato to tune it. other than that I don't guess it's that bad. Minor stuff really. Good luck with it all

Well i got my 240 form XAT. i got a pretty good deal, and like they say "XAT Racing makes every effort to honestly evauluate all of our vehicles"
no body is perfect. and even the best can make mistakes, shit i've done it many times. but you should have check the car before you left the shop, they cant just give you the keys and kick you out of the store. lol. and btw where that hell do you live???? 8hrs away???? did you came down from GA????

Does it do the job? Are you mad becuase the welds arent pretty? I lookd at the dyno sheet and it seems to have pretty good #'s so it runs good, stop your bitching. I can understand if you paid Xalot amount of money to have this done but the website says nothing about the welds having to look pretty.
Right, and your 240 is 5 different shades of color because thats not the point, I mean, its got paint on it, right?

Damm that some fail ass work I would not expect from XAT always heard good things about them. The crackhead on 22nd could weld and install a LSX motor better than that. I'd take it back to them and have them fix it.

gfto. I even said that I didnt like the whole spacer thing,I understand what your saying gotboost but if hes only complaining about the welds on the piping,the spacers.. those would be easy fix and not haveto make a HUGE deal out of it. Everything else is what reallyy matters.. the motor itself being in the car and running right? im not swinging on any nuts,
I just know they have been around for a loong time and do awesome work.

the had him pay extra for a performance clutch and there's a stock one on it...that's a breach of contract right there. that's not shoddy work or a rushed job, that's complete failure to provide the parts paid for

I might add a friend of mine was royally screwed also but he didnt go this route even though i suggested it.They dynoed and "tuned' the car but its still runs so rich at idle it dies.He paid alot less than this guy and i told him never go back.Anybody know a good shop good with a Sr20det in fwd 200sx/sentra's?

I understand where ur coming from Ramblin bc they did the same shit 2 me on my S13 they did a shitty welding job on my exhaust too and i took it back and they said that they couldnt hear the exhaust leak and they said that there was nothing wrong they didnt want to fix the exhaust they just came up with excuses and they also wanted me 2 pay them $40 dollars 4 them having 2 put the car on the lift 2 check their fuck up well there u have it XAT best in town not.....Ramblin i hope u get something back from those crooks...g/l
