for a budget of ~$25K and having to buy new, I got the car that is about the fastest and best all around that there is. that, and my current car was getting to the point that it was still awesome to have, and everything worked, but sinking money into it was just not a viable option.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I bought my 95 Civic 2 years ago because I wanted to have one like they did in the F&F and go under trucks. Well I love the car and my family has never owned anything domestic so i followed the tradition and bought a Honda....but to this day I still have not been able to go under a truck

We just bought a 2005 300C mainly because the heater core blew out of the Stratus.

$300 heater core and 9 hours to change it out, = time for a new car.

what got me into subies was actually the WRC and it being the impreza being the only model that was available in the US...aside from old all-tracs and escort cossies...
Then it grew into a sick twisted obsesssion, they turned into track cars thanks to my engineering/motorsports/Formula SAE involvement....
That made me get the truck to be the toy hauler for the business...

I still want to make a turbo elise because its the closest "car" I can make drive like the Formula car.

I've always loved Supras growing up as a kid. I bought an 88 Toyota Supra
Turbo as my first car for $1,500 from an elderly guy who kept great care of it back in 1999. I envied 93-98 Supra owners, simply because those seemed out of reach for me financially. I had spoke to someone who owned one at the age of 22 and I asked him how he did it, he told me if I wanted something bad enough the only way to get it is to work for it, so thats what I did. I learned to budget myself, stay focused, and work hard... within a couple of years I had my very own. I am now on my 3rd one.

Just took over the payments as my brother no longer cared for the car.
