Default What made you get your current car!?

Just thinking, about people and why they buy the cars they buy. So i firgured i start a thread to find out what makes people buy them. Passion? Money? Good deal? etc etc...

I'll start with my current ride, 97 civic lx sedan.

I was saving up and getting ready to move to miami for college. Needed a good realiable car, easy to work on my self, and cheap on gas. I love honda's, mazda's, toyota's, etc etc, so to get to the point, i came across my civic realy cheap and in good cond. so i got it and decided to have fun with it.

hope this thread picks up, lets see why people buy the cars they buy. and i hope everyones honest, if you brought your "JDM" civic becuz its "whats in" then say thats why u got it.

I was looking for another "sports" car after many years of family sedans. Looked at everything from a Z3 to a GTO. Then my MX6 became available for $1800. Cash deal, payment money could go towards mods...easy decision. I've done the fast in a straight line thing years ago and was leaning toward something that could handle. Now I can actually throw a car into a turn and have it stick and not act like a scarred pig on ice. Really happy with my choice, very fun car to drive.
