most ghetto quick fix you have done
Well after my most ghetto quick fix ever today, it got me wondering just how ghetto this solution to my problem is, so post up your ghetto fixes
I made a stupid trade a while ago on my integra. My apexi n1 catback for a stock exaust +cash.. well the stock exaust was rusting out and looked rough, i did it anyways craving a quiet car. well now it devoloped a nice whole, about 1/4 inch wide by 2.5 inches tall. its on the resonater (think thats what it is, where the pipe gets fat after the cat). anyways, I have tried everything. all of there little exaust patch kits, jb weld, everything. It will last a week or 2 and then falls off or something. I actually went to the extreme of using duct tape, which actually worked the best for a month or so. Im sick of fighting this and still dont have any money to even buy a stock exaust
So what did I do to solve this issue you wonder? I got my hammer, flat head screw driver and chizzle, jacked the car up. BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF IT with the back of the hammer, opened it up nice, opened it some more with the screw driver and chizzle so now it just sounds like I have an open downpipe instead of the annoying sound of a leaking exaust

wow
my worst one was probably when reversing the flow of a fuel line, instead of getting a new line, i unhooked the filter and turned it around to flow the other way
and then there was a broken vacuum...thing...that we ziptied down so it was less broken...for about a year until i pulled the motor

on my old altima, I ziptied my radiator to my condenser and frame, since I lost all of the connecting bolts.
My radiator fans would never turn on after my accident, and my condenser main relays were all shot or something happened to it. dalton helped me rewire it all using a system of advance auto $10 4-pin relays and walmart toggle switches. Before my car got stolen, I had 4 switches, one for the condenser, one for the radiator fans, one for my foglights, and one that was for my ricer-green LED washer nozzles which broke after a while, so that might not count...
Felt like i was in a cockpit in my car or something. I had contemplated putting 2 more switches just for the stereo and a kill switch.
I used to have a pretty decent stereo setup in my car too, ghetto, but sounded really good for being so ghetto. I needed to weigh down my trunk, so I used 4 layers of rammat. It wasn't enough, I ended up filling up the trunk with dirt from my backyard. The trunk was so heavy, i HAD to hold it up otherwise it'd just slam shut *HARD*. No more rattleys though.
*edit* I meant trunk DOOR, not the entire trunk

I didn't have a line lock so I put vice grips on my rear brakes.

I can go on for awhile,Me and Pablo ALWAYS had the Srt rigged.
Most ghetto?
Either our ratched up install of the boost controller.
or...
When I ran the open downpipe,i had exhaust hangers, and everyweek they'd break..We never took them off,and one snapped at like 10:30 one night,me and Pablo rigged it with duct tape, and a close hanger.
..and it stayed like that for about 2 months.Whenever I finally pulled them off,I think there was 7-8 hangers.

Damn makes me feel better lol
Well wanted a makeshift cold air intake so we cut in a hole in the bottom of the fender in my friends car and then water kept splashing up so we took an old license plate and jb welded it at an angle so we would get no water and still get some air.
