Does the fuel filter for your integra need to be changed every 20k miles? Is it $50? If done improperly, will changing the fuel filter leave your integra inoperable until a diesel mechanic purges the fuel system for you?

Have you ever run a diesel out of fuel? I did, in HS. My friend and I spent the next day getting that tractor started.

Diesels are different. Yes, the shortblock contains the same parts, but above that, there isn't much similarity between a gas motor and a diesel.

desiels arent really like that anymore. Ive changed a few filters on trucks, sometimes I fill the bowl, sometimes I dont. When I dont it just takes a bit for it to fill then fires up and goes on fine.

I really think toyota is too late to join in with trucks here in north america, they are pushing them hard at a time when a lot of ppl are starting to trade them in for cars. They dont make a large truck, if they did, a lot of ppl that drive duallys and 3/4 trucks are very brand loyal and use them are work trucks.

^ +1 Yanmar diesels are troopers. No filter problems, and we've run that thing out of gas like 12 times, just add more gas and go!
