Hell I drove a month without touching the clutch pedal..slave and master both went out at the same time so I rev matched everywhere

I highlighted the key words. come back to me after 12 years and tell its still fun.

My 69 Is manual, and as a weekend car, I have fun with it. But a manual DD very got tiresome for me after a few years.

Curious...question for you and anyone else that mightve tired of manuals over the years...

Did you push the clutch in at stop lights and hold it? I always engine brake at least one gear, then coast and slap it in neutral. I have an infinitesimal leak somewhere again in my clutch line (I thought imports were reliable?!) so I couldnt if I wanted to. Its not a fancy stiff clutch like the Poopra has, which is work (so worth it). Was it/is it work for you to push in your pressure plate?

i think they are designed for those people who does not know how to drive a manual car. i had owned a 01 acura cl type s with auto manual shifting .but i would say it sucks cause it is definitely not like manual car. the manual up and down shifting sucks, cause it hesitates and it does not responsible immediately, i would say 0.2~0.3 second delay. but technology might have changed now. on gtr and new lan evo. it might be different. but i would still buy a true manual tranny car with clutch instead of auto with manual shifting tranny.unless it is a ferrari or porsche.

^ again thats an automatic with paddle gimmicks. Not a true manual shift. And no, they really are not that fun.

Chuck I will give it to you. Of all the things you whine about, the clutch has not been one of them.
