I dont think people(senators/general public) understand how easy it is to run from the cops on a bike. While I never have, I have a friend who had run from the law 3 times within the first two weeks of owning his first bike and has yet to have problems running from them. Its just too easy to drop two gears and twist the throttle.

I dont agree with running from the cops, but with the kind of Power to weight ratio, it takes all of 7-8 seconds to go from 50- 150 on a just a 600.

But I agree with John on the part of needing to have a Liscens present at the dealership and DMV to buy and register a motorcycle.

I dont know very many bikers that have respect for law enforcement either, I know some that do. But mostly if they pull over its the same as if they were driving a modified civic, they are going to get harrased more than likely.

Darwin usually gets them in the end. No need for new laws, enforce what we got to the fullest now.

Speak for yourselves, sportbike riders. Cops don't screw with people on cruisers that bad.

Peopel on cruisers also are FAR FAR FAR less likely to ride like squids. Coincidence?

duh.

Add the word 'sport' before bike in my previous post. Maybe that will clear things up.

are u fuc&)*)((n serious?

so just shoot me in my back while I'm doing 120 down the bridge so that I could lay down the bike, hit the wall, crush 15 bones, and die of internal bleeding?

yeah, excellent suggestion

law won't do anything but make it less likely for us to pull over and more likely to bend our plate and run
