this thread never went there but you did if you dont remember I said I would take a r32 with a 2j and own all because I like the 2j and I like the r32 .
are you going to buy the new gtr is that why you just started to talk about it???
I have been in a fast r32 and I love the fact that it is lighter than a r34 and the way it looks and the way it handles it is only missing one thing in MY opinion a larger displacment engine so instead of building the crap out of a rb I think a 2j will do the job for less money and alot less hair pulling to get parts trackside when little things go wrong, look at what happened when japan ran a r34 here for a top speed run it broke and they sent it home the first time,there are no parts to fix shit.

mate a 2jz to the awd setup of a GTR and then we can debate which is better...
you asked for ring times of an RB..and thus the R33 ring times match your coveted Z06 time, and the new GTR blows it away.
(the r33 was not modified as you would like to believe, they were merely stating that the car's speed limiter which is required in the UK, i assume where the car was from, had been removed)

I like my Mustangs, i like my ferraris. A lambo would be sweet but a GTR with over 1000Hp is by far ....WAY better than a fox body when it comes to coolness.
Beleive it or not...what ever floats ya boat...a 1999 GTR skyline would cost about 15K to buy in Japan..2k ta get it here and fuck knows to get it legal.

Ive almost got 30K in my S14 and I could spank it(on the striaght atleast lol)....Luke Skywalker,Paul Skywalker and 2 live crew I still wouldnt buy the car for 160g's..Tony at Japan auto direct is trying to get some in(Skylines) and take over where Motorex left off.This car is sick but I would like to have the 3 cars listed over it any day..but the Tomei RB26 cost as much as my whole car
.I agree this car would whoop my ass in corners ..and it launches your nutts off.I had 87 hatch mustang with a built 331 stroker in it and it lasted about a year"nitrous killed it" and I loved it, but it handled like shit with the Lakewood drag shocks and struts..it also would launch and pull the tires off the ground.I'm in the middle of this discussion(I love all cars too)but have fun trying to get a USDM car(stock) to out handle a R32,R33,R34 (stock)...its not going to happen.I get parts all over the place for my RB26 RHDJAPAN.COM JPSTRADING.COM NENGUN.COM ERICSPERFORMANCEPARTS.COM FORMELY B AND E CUSTOMS..EBAY.I dont need to go to Napa or advance since I don't have anything on my engine stock except the block and valve covers.The Skyline set so many records and it won so much it was considered unfair to other competitors and banned.Rb26 vs 2jz is a toss up ..I love them both..but If I had just a drag car and didnt care about handling it would be twin turbo(GT40088R's) 400 SB instead of either RB or 2J.
