wrecked my s13 today
im getting the list of thing that are wrong with it and going from there i will get that on moday, and my ins. has nothing to do with this our claim is already closed they no im not at fault for this and his isn already called mine and told me im not at fault for it

still doesnt matter, pretty much whenever it costs 80% of what its worth to fix, most companies will just total it out.

What insurance company are you dealing with?
When my Civic was "totalled" for value, i.e. more damage than car value, Progressive cut me check for the vehicle value minus buyback price (in my case, $3600 - $600 + $400 for loss of use of the vehicle). My title was never COD'd or rebuilt. Car had a clean FL title when I sold it after fixing the damage for about $400.
In your case, you should be able to do justabout the same. Problem is, your car already has a rebuilt title. The KBB price doesnt apply, not even the wholesale level. With rebuilt title the value is about half. Your buyback price should be really cheap though (no more than $200). Make sure you get them for loss of use of the vehicle from the day of the accident until they cut you a check, unless they got you a rental for that time. Looks like unless you sue, you will get about $1000 out of it.
