so if i was sitting there with food in my hand and the cop told me to throw it away and leave, wouldnt be a level of harassment. whay if i rolled up in my old f 150 that has nothing done to it? would i still be told to throw my food away and leave? def going to tal to the manager next time and find out what his or her stance is on this.

How do you figure its a racing scene or spot? Someone would have to be retarded to organize anything there and race down Hillsborough. I don't see it as a street racing scene... you want to see street racing scene go to Gandy. Sonics is just like any fast food joint. We could meet at Wendy's and still the same can occur but were not there organizing races. They can stick and undercover dressed like any of us in the crowd and they'll find nothing. There stupid if they think were organizing anything. So I guess me chumping down a burger and drinking a strawberry slushie is considered being part of a street racing scene.

my bad then... My replies relate to the one on Gandy.

The problem is that yall probably drive imports or other "street racer" type of cars and are all stereotyped into one big group. You can blame all the dumbasses that ruined it all for you when they crash, kill people and other dumb shit. Now anytime the cops see a group haning out, they bust it up.

Like I said though, instead of comlaining about it, do something about it. Either talk to the manager of the place or go to the city and complain or lodge a complaint against the cop.

I know the Sonic on Gandy was letting people hang out there and then the city came down on the owner and now they keep running people out.

either way, it shouldnt matter. what if we all met at a hooters or an outback or something like that. would a cop come and yell, put your forks down and go home now?

look, people wanna street race, they are gonna do it. the people that meet at sonics, at least the ones i know, are not the kind of people that jump out and flag in the middle of the highway like a jackass, or pop off their exhaust just so they can get a chubby. we go to sonics, we talk about each others cars, WE BUY FOOD, and thats it. we get their, get out of our cars, and dont get back in till the hot donuts sign comes on next door and the one jerk cop comes and decides we gotta go

I read a few responses, I'm confused...

When they break up a group and tell everyone to get out, what about the people that have absolutely no relation to the "group" and just came by to get something to eat, that cop kicks them out too?

If its true, I actually want to go down there one night and be separate from the group just so the cop can tell me to leave and I can start something up with the restaurant manager and the city/PD, that's unfair.

i dont think its the owner. i think the only time a manager says something is if your double parked in front of the bays or your parked in the handicapped spot. then i can see getting upset
