an sr is just a turbocharged 4 cylinder, nothing mystical and magical
btw. what does it matter if you've seen a sr at 700hp, chances are your not going to come close to that in your swapped miata

and the crank pulley thing was only on the early 1.6L cars, not really a big deal.

Has anyone forgot the z fever did this a few years ago. The did a sr into a miata and they made 400hp to the wheels from what I herd. It was in a mag to . It is not the only car that they have had in a mag to. It can be done it has been done and it is time some one did a rb into one.

RB has been done in Japan. Barely fits. Nobody knows much about the swap, only seen a pic before

NO ONE has said it is the best engine ever or anything even close, however it isn't a bad engine at all, so if you personally have a vendetta against an engine thats your problem, not the thread starters...

So at least you admit that there isn't anything wrong with the engine, but its just the fact that others like it so you will decide to NOT like it to standout and be different.
NO ONE has said it is the best engine ever or anything even close, however it isn't a bad engine at all, so if you personally have a vendetta against an engine thats your problem, not the thread starters...

Yeah guys im doing the swap whatever, just means i have to get the mounts from aus if i can't find them over your way. I no its grief and i could prob get the power without the swap but its just so so easy over here to tune the sr20 and theres so much support, my bros got1, if you wan't you wind the boost up to a bar with no mods at all! Thats exellent! The money itd cost to fit a t28 and new ecu to it i could have done the conversion!
