Ive been trying to buy a prelude for a while now, so Im not really a hater.

But the car has its disadvantages, one of the heaviest cars made by honda, built with an engine with alot of torque, but with a dislike for boost, and with less aftermarket support than its smaller brethren. The prelude has a hit or miss styling on the exterior, much set apart from most of the honda line of cars, with different trim packages such as the SH Preludes. IMHO Honda deviated from its norm when they began production of the Prelude, which may be the cause of this dissent within the honda community.

my only problem with the prelude was that honda seemed to screw with everything to make it drive or handle better, but never gave it enough power.

I think with the body style, it would have been suited to make a nice RWD platform. It looks nothing like the civic and integra bodies that so define a smaller econo-FWD car. It was larger, a bit more techy/luxurious.

And yeah, they never gave it enough power.

if u want boost u just got to build or go @ around 5lbs..
i love the seats and the gauge setup on the 4th gens

i personally like the 92-97(?) body style the best. ...maybe its displacement envy?
