Should i go with more sticky 225/50/16 tires or less sticky 245/45/16 ?

Should i go with more sticky 225/50/16 tires or less sticky 245/45/16 ?
Exactly what the title says!
* The new car will be putting down ~240-260 rwhp.
* and weigh ~2800 lbs
* The rim size is 16x8.
* I am quite aggressive through turns.
* Loudness isn't a concern.
* Tread wear isnt a big concern, as long as its not 100 or something.
Choices so far:
245/45/16 Yokohama es100
225/50/16 BFGoodrich g-force T/A KD
225/50/16 Kumho MX
Feel free to add more choices if ya want. BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE MAKE, MODEL, and SIZE of the tire you suggest.

I concur with Zate; wider contact patch is better. However, not all tires on the same size will have the same contact patch. So double check that before you purchase them. Tirerack doesn't have the info on the two 225 sized tires you have listed but I'm sure if you call you can find out. The Yoko's have a 9.4" treadwidth which is the widest I saw of those sized tires. I picked up a set of the Avon Tech M500's in a 245-45-16 for the rear of the S2k. Although it doesn't have quite as large of a treadwidth as the Yoko's, I have had experience with them (the Yoko's) and they (the Yoko's) tend to be a little loud, even when new. So I compared them and the consensus is that they perform just as good, but are more quiet.

you might wanna check out the nitto autox tires. They are inbetween the drags and streets for treadwear. I think they are actually a 180 which isnt to bad and should last for a little while.

if your going for grip thru the turns and optimum handling go with the wider, low profile tire.
i run the es100's and they are a great low cost tire and they grip really good on a curvy road, but even with my 200whp/190wtq. i have to baby them thru 1st and 2nd or they spin like crazy. they might be a little better in a non-fwd car though.
