Headlight Question
makes sense - i dont think ill mess with it long enough to do all that before I go buy a new one. these are gettin a little chipped anyways.
there is now ay in hell your gonna get the water out of that light unless you either drill a little tiny le in the bottom of the lense sp? or take it apart and re seal the light and if that don't work then the light it self has to be changed there two different sections on your front end one is for the lights it self and the other one is for the parking/turn signals.. or better yet go back over to cnfcgp and post this same question there that site is better equipped to answer it then here man if it were me i would change the light and do you have the gt or se model
Get some cotton in there to dry it up for now, and then when its dry make sure to check that ONE hole you drilled for your strobe lights. Unless you forgot about that, you drilled thin strobe tubes in there and maybe one of them cracked and is dripping water in there?
If you want I can come up and help you with that, I did a LOT of sealing and shit on my new headlights and these puppies are cleaner than..... well the rest of my car. hahaha.
as far as the hood being misaligned i can fix that too.
So for once we can work on your car instead of mine.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.
The strobe lights are drilled into the parking lights, im inclined to go with the rear seal as well but im gonna follow all advice here and see what happends...
I have worked on messed up headlights for a few people............and done some amazing things.
With Some headlights, remove all metal, bulbs, etc, and heat the plastic to about 200 degrees in an oven. do about 2-3 minutes at a time. It softens the "caulk/sealant". This sounds weird, but works.
Pull the light apart and clean everything inside with clean t-shirts and windex. Let it dry off really well, put it back together and re-caulk with clear "window-door" silicone seal.
If you need any customizing done to make unusual lights/bulbs fit where
everyone says it can't be done, get back to me.-Bob

UPDATE:
I detailed my car a while ago and finally got to pull out the headlight to get rid of the humidity - it recondensed two days later.
I considered pulling the housing apart by heating it like senor said but I've never seen good results with anything other than the original glue to reseal it so I took a little bit more innovative of an approach.
I rinsed it out, then I filled it with rice and left it there for 30 minutes
then I dumped it out and put about a tsp more in and closed it up. Three weeks later the condensation hasn't returned!
As soon as I make a trip to work im gonna pick up some silica packets and pour a little of that in each side - its clear so it should blend in better!
Cliffnotes:
Poor a little silica in and forget about resealing it.

Now there's some logic!
