i still need to be able to afford gas LOL..

and about the eclipse's, i'm looking for a newer car since i've had 3 old cars and i'd rather have something modern to look at when i look outside the window

i can put down $2500. And i can easily afford monthly payments even with 20% interest.

Try you hardest to get a good interest rate, if you can't, then wait till you can put down a higher downpayment. If you can, get a account at navy federal credit union (I think someone in your immediate family needs to be navy or marine corps) and they have good interest rates that you'd probably be able to get.

the ls v8 only came in automatic.the v6 came in manual and auto.and I doubt you'll find a v8 ls for 9k unless it has a shit load of miles or bad mechanical problems.

I'm not a fan of Exlipses don't like the engine not that easy to work on anyways what about... a Honda Accord, not alot of people try to steal them unless you pimp them out, get like a 2004 Accord good on gas and is still kinda fast I'd buy the v6 though, also you can get it in stick! plus it just looks nice and has alot of space, I was thinking of buying one about 1 year go instead I got my t-bird!

i like that it already has an aftermarket cd player.. saves me some money for a year or two haha.

i'm going to go look at it today after class..

the bad thing is, i haven't driven a stick in like a year, and i only learned on a ford escort or contour..

i know i'll be able to learn again, i just hope i'll be able to dest drive it without any problems hahaha.. otherwise i'll have to drive someone elses car for like 20 minutes so i remember how..
