I got arrested last night for racing a ford GT, I need some advice, and wonder what other people in my situation did, what would be the consequenses of pleading no contest? what points of the situation are key factors when it comes to trial? and please, any input will be appreciated!

Make sure you get a lawyer.

One of my friends got caught street racing, and got off easy.. Driving class and a hefty fine, but he kept his license.

 

dont effin street race. explain this to the moron in the dakota that thinks its cool too.

but umm other advice. did they pull the GT too? and how many cops were there? did they show you your clocked speed or did they actually see the "race"?

its going to be tought because if you have no proof that you "werent racing" they will believe the cop over you anyways...

the points will probably be quite a bit and or suspended license for a year. im not sure...

A Ford GT? A real Ford GT and not a Mustang GT?

Did you admit to racing? What proof does the cop have that you were racing? Did he hear you set up the contest with the other driver?

 

Def. get a lawyer if you want to keep your license. What kind of proof do they have that ya were actually "street racing"

 

i got arrested same shit against mustang GT i toke that shit to trial and beat it on march 8th FTW!

 

they said they saw it all happen, yes a GT not a mustang gt.... what do you think would happen if I just went and pled no contest?

 

you dont want to do that ..... more then likely they will suspend your licence for a year and you might have probation also and hefty fines ....
