pleading no contest does not seem like a good idea. unless they saw you setup and take off.

if they saw you take off its street racing if they did not see you take off its compeditive speeding at least in North Carolina.

it depends on what they saw on how it will be handled also it seems they are cracking down again so you may want to ask for a Continuance a couple of times in court.

did you atleast win?!?! how did they catch you on bayside? with the chopper? ive come up behind a cop crusin 170+, had to break pretty damn hard but came short of his car maybe 30ft and it was as if he didnt see a thing... so did you pass him them?

Dude, you need to get some serious legal advice.

I have legal insurance for $16/month. Your case is more serious than a ticket, but the same procedure applies.
I just make one call to an 800 number, (the biggest law firm in Florida)
and my legal insurance kicks in, they call me back during a 2 hour
window, and answer any question I have (also at no additional cost), and if the ticket is in Tampa, (or anywhere else in the country) for instance, they hook me up with a traffic ticket specialist for where ever the ticket is from, and that traffic ticket specialist takes care of it.............all I have to do is pay my $16/month, and I don't even have to know the name of an attorney! These same folks can help you, too.

But good luck Justin, the cops have become real ass holes lately and have been getting stricter and stricter lately. I keep getting pulled over and ticketed over the most BS things. I've gotten 3 tickets in the last year and I rarely ever speed. The legal system is so fucked up it's not even funny. I guarantee you more accidents happen and more people get injured over old people driving to slow, cutting you off, dying at the wheel than street racing by far. All this is is a way for the state to make more mony off you.

Street Racing on public highway is defined as...DESIGNATED starting and stopping point...as landmarks etc etc..

A Public defender got me off the hook for $300(Inc court costs etc etc)
