There are alot of scamming h/a guys out there. But if I lived in Lakeland with my 78 corolla. well, i wouldnt have a 78 corolla nemore. In PR the most stollen /modded are 86 and under corollas and starlets. If you find some good toyota guys out there they can be AWESOME help. But alot try to pretend to be your friend also. Just to sabotage your yota.
my 2 cents.
I really dont like h/a too much( only like the clean ones) because they are FWD. RWD FTW!

i have never heard anyone go OMG HONDA!! other than the little kids that have them just to be cool.

you will always have the people that like mod'ing cars and the people that just do it to be cool/be accepted and that is not brand specific, it happens with all makes and models.

yes these days 240s are being bought up like anything, but there are less and less of them.....but there are an endless supply of honda FWD cars...i imagine something along the lines of the human body fields from the matrix....and giant ricer robots "harvesting" them....

You may want to double check your block, right next to where the tranny meets up with the motor on the I.D. pad. B-series = DOHC and I may be wrong but every B-series I know of is EFI. If it is a B-series then someone stole your other cam and did a downgrade on your intake system.

The difference is everyone and their brother has modified a Honda. Neons are a different story. Making a sleeper, or making any slow car into something fast and unique is interesting because it's different. Modifying Hondas is anything but different. It just looks dumb when every Honda owner out there thinks their standard-issue bolt-ons make their car so fast and amazing and "custom." It's been proven it takes a buttload of money to make them fast, and it's still an economy car, so it's not a proper race car, no matter how far you take it.
There are plenty of people out there who have been down the same sort of road; they modded from paycheck to paycheck trying to make (one of their) first cars fast, then later realize it was a waste of time and money.

I don't know why most people bother with Hondas. This of course doesn't apply to S200s and NSX's, which are sports cars.
