get some fab work and make that bitch a mid engine rear wheel drive, not only would you get props for a badass setup (400whp on a b-series is a hell of an accomplishment) but you'll have one of the most unique "FWD" cars around.
I understand what your actually trying to say about the different races being tailored to different venues....but if you like to race from a roll find a track long enough for the race but don't be an ass clown and street race. Keep it at the track or when you crash and burn hope I am not around cause all I am gonna do is point and laugh at your skreet racing ass.....then when I get done laughing maybe I can "find" my cell phone to call for help.
If you want to compare whose got the better engine without things like SKILL or the rest of the car coming into play then just get an engine dyno and paste it to your window....the one with the highest numbers wins. But that wouldn't account for the transmision differences, and the weight to power ratio that is still in effect with a roll race.
I suspect that a roll race is more of an attempt at taking away the disadvantage of a fwd low torque 4cyl motor....and take away the disadvantage of the owner not having the money to make a CAR that is better, but rather just enough allowance from mom and dad to modify the motor.
It may sound like I am bashing on the "ricer" type cars, so let me clarify. My last 3 cars were hondas (current car is a 95 Camaro Z2
, and all of them were modded to some extent whether it was just I/H/E or full blown turbo setup. So I know you can get tq and hp out of a 1.6/1.8 ltr 4 banger, and with the lower weight they can keep up with the high hp/tq v8's that have a fat ass. I also know there are some young punks who drive v8's and the only reason they aren't mullet wearing, Iroc driving rednecks is because they are too young to know what a mullet is
So, NO, I don't think all young "ricer" punks drive imports and only mature "adults" drive domestics, I realize that idiots drive every type of car.......but just like motorcycles where the vast majority of squids are on sport bikes, MOST of the idiocy seen on the street is from tuner cars. Anyways I think I have strayed far enough off topic so back to the point.........
I am for racing from a dig AT THE TRACK ONLY since it takes an all around skill and a better overall car than a roll racer. Plus Roll racing can currently be done only on the street which automatically eliminates it as a choice since racing on the streets is reserved for those that are only alive because technology has all but eliminated natural selection. Anyone with a car that is in decent running condition, and a Nitrous kit, can race from a roll. It takes more knowledge, skill, time, and investment to be successfull at racing from

Can you remember saying this, WTF is the difference? If your hauling ass on the street you are breaking the law. At least when "streetracing" happens, 90% of the time it is on a blocked off street or a highway with no traffic. At least when I am racing I only endanger myself and the person reving next to me. You are endanger everybody you drive past...
