Im 110% on digs thats why I love rwd cars,suspension mods help out.
But when im on my bike,you can catch me on a roll.Cause I hate 12 o clocking my shit from a 10-13k launch haha

It isn't that I haven't spent my time at the track or don't have the suspention, (from gator axles to trailing arms) it's just that 90% of races on the street are on the highway or some guy pulling up next to you and it just happens. Not often do you have someone pull up next to you and say
" Hey lets stop right here in the middle of the road and find a flagger to line us up then run to 100". If you are building a car for the strip then yeah, don't bitch about racing from a dig but if it's a daily driver then chances are if you have brains you aren't going to take the chance of breaking something. I like racing for the fun of it and I built a car to do so, but unlike most people that have built a civic to the level of the one I have, don't drive them to work everyday. Not to mention if I went any stiffer with my suspention it would beat me to hell everytime I got in it, Just not practical.

Driving definitions: Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I cant believe all you guys are ripping on roll racing. It's a much better race. I mean the driver really comes out in a roll race. You gotta find the right gear to start in, wait for 3 beeps, and FLOOR it. If you can do that, then ur a fucking pro. You guys wont learn to love roll racing until you can master the art of it like I have..

I like to go from a dig. I had an srt-4 and I still prefered the dig. In my opinion rolls are for people who don't know how to launch.

making your car launch is just as much a part of modifying your car as building the motor! and as far as the couple of people saying that you roll out on the hwy, that's where all the really bad wrecks happen from ass clowns playing chase at high speeds and end up killing someone and then the media is all over it talking about how awefull all of us street racers are! they dont understand that, that has nothing to do with us! and it gives us a bad name! of course it's fun to run someone from a light as long as there's no traffic and it's reasonabley safe to do it.
oh and about the back in the 90's post, lol that was like last week for me! lmao i was street racing back in the 70's, and yes, it was all digs for sure back then!
and yeah, i'm still 22!!!! (at heart)

well, not all of us. I have gotten alot of shit for for my views on street racing in other threads. I guess people just don't like being told that if they street race and wreck then they deserve all the troubles they get.
