Ion Redline
Well, your car is 16 years old, and I'm assuming is on stock suspension, if I remember correctly. It's probably got some worn out bushings and whatnot, along with worn out suspension components. I've never seen our car up close or driven it, so I've no clue. But some suspension upgrades would probably help a lot.

Sure we can all find an example of how FWD cars can be set up right, handle well, and take off well. For daily driving and weekend fun RWD and AWD are better. Oversteer is more fun than understeer. Wheelhop sucks on FWD. RWD and AWD launches are much more fun. I think most people jump on the FWD bashing band wagon because of the ricers who think FWD cars are God's gift to man.
Buy the car that makes you happy, and understand its limitations. I love my car's handling and it is fairly quick, but I don't run around saying it is the greatest thing becuase I'd be lucky to get into the 13's at the track.
