Auto Mechanic...
You dont go to "college" to be a mechanic.
There are schools for it, but I wouldnt classify them as college. Take UTI for example. I'm going there in a month (along with 3drwhore
) to get all my certification and garbage. Its a year long school and you get a lot of hands on tech training. If your serious, I'd suggest you go to UTI Corp

HAHAHAHAHAHA, your joking right?
Its a fucking county technical institution. They dont give a shit.
UTI has schools all over the US and is affiliated with a lot of MAJOR car manufactures. Dude, do some research.
In your case, I suggest going down to jiffy lube and fill out an application and pray they hire you.

certifications dont mean shit they just mean you know how to study and remmber long enough to take a test. Thats why you need the 2 years exp as well.

Driving definitions: Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
I think anyone that wanted to get into doing auto tech stuff for a living would much rather earn their knowledge from uti opposed to MTI.. the intructor that teaches mechanics at MTI hasent owned a car in 10 years (true story)
