dude you have no clue what your about to jump into if you've never owned a boat before...and i can tell right now you know NOTHING about boats...someone is gonna take you for a ride when you buy a boat..i can see the thread now

"TR was right i got fucked over and dont know what to do with this boat"

if you cant afford something to tow it with..you WONT be able to afford a boat..theres a lot more than just buying it..and im not tryin to be a dick..but your getting in way over your head..

and believe me..i know wtf im talking about..my dad wanted a boat so me and him could go fishing...so he bought one and we've put countless hours into this boat...and have almost paid twice what we paid for it in repairs and general maintenence..

just a warning....

Gas isn't cheap either... No one is telling you how to "run your life" but you seem so confident and wealthy and you can't afford a 1500 truck to tow it with?

+1 it costs 60-70 bucks to fill the boat up....and if you go out like we do then you generally have to fill up on the water...and last time we got gas on the water... 87 was $3.73 a gallon...

I dont know if anbody has even thought of this but:
04 GTi
$21,950 Highest price$6,995 Lowest price$17,576 Average price

Sell your Golf Cart, buy a low mile 02-03 V6 Blazer or Tacoma then you can tow up to a 22" boat of your choice. If you happen to get the TRD SR5 or the ZR2 models you will be just as fast as that little washing machine you drive now!

there problem solved.

you guys are a riot....you like want me to cry or somthing? im not going to make a bad decision. Granted, im only 20. But i have learned a lot. I pay for school, Im on my 4th apartment, I have a car, anyways, i don't need to prove anything to you guys..This thread was about asking if my car can tow because I could not find the towing capacity on google. I found out i can't tow a boat? My options are a marina or borrow a friends truck.. and I will make that decision when the time comes?? I don't understand why you guys are haters..well I do..becuase im on TR...but for no real reason? and I made it clear in sevral posts that Im not going to buy a truck?

Wet slips at marinas start at $500 a month. Dry slips start around $200. It all depends on the area you are in.
