Sort of what I was getting at about going apeshit when stalling. Just remember...FUCK THEM. If they are so rushed they can manage to go around. Pace yourself, take your time, and don't be distracted by others' impatience.

The Supra is actually tough to stall, though. Somehow I've come close numerous times, like trying to get up rhino ramps, or backing out on a cold start, etc, and all the dash lights will come on, and the rpms will drop to the minimum the tach can show, but somehow, the engine still runs.

The way I learned (and I just learned a month or so ago) was somebody told me to "ride the clutch." Slowly build rpm's while you slowly release the clutch. It's really not that hard.

That's pretty much how I learned on my Camaro.
Simply let out the clutch very slowly, and then as you feel the car start to move forward slightly, ease onto the gas and keep letting out the cltuch until you feel it engage and drive.
Shifting gears is the easy thing to do. Launching for your first time will be the hard part tho.

Find a friend or family member nice enough to let them teach you. Now if I still had my Camaro I would let you test it out, but the clutch in my Stang would be a bitch to learn on since it is starting to slipp.

Or have your parents go look at cars at a dealership with you let them test drive it , then pull off the lot and switch seats.
