Manual Transmission
For your first time I suggest the slowest clutch foot imaginable, letting the clutch out 1mm per second. All too often when I was teaching someone how to drive a stick, almost everything goes out the window when they get all apeshit from stalling with traffic behind them. So like I said, left foot sloooooow.
The main thing is getting a feel for the clutch pedal, when it grabs and releases. Until you get that 'feel' for that particular pedal, sloooooow. And as I'm sure you know each car's clutch pedal is different. So everytime you practice in a new car, slooooooow.
Sorry, just had to say it one more time, slooooooow.

i can try and squeaze you in...if you let me whoop-ass on the supra
my frickin 50 pound flywheel is pretty easy to learn on, you can think of it like a hill, like pushing something up a hill, if you let go too soon, it slides down the hill, but when you get over the crest, it just keeps on goin

Well its NOT because of how fast they are Troux, I can tell you that right now
I say that because I cant stall my Miata for crap...I've had it down to around 300 rpms multiple times before, but it doesnt die. The Supra however has a heavy duty clutch and being my first car, I've stalled it once or twice.
