All I remember is those stupid damn stupid automatic door openers(grocery stores, some banks, and what-not) use KA band and it always pissed me off because my dektor would go apeshit around 'em.

Thats actually not 100% true I "heard".
I was talking to a guy that supposedly said he had one. He got a speeding ticket. His radar went off but the douche was ignoring it or something and didn't see it. Well he said he called the company and they have to have you fill out all this paperwork and all the legal related stuff first to get them to pay for your ticket. Then I think you still get the points taken away on your license
I would still get one of those though. Seems like it would be money well spent.

Jesus christ people the mans talking about a radar gun, you know those things they point at you to see how fast your going. He said that in all his posts.
I dont see why it would be illegal. If they say anything just tell them your doing a study for a school project on why you think the speed limit should be changed on xxx road.
