Get a lawyer. Ty Trainer, some other guy... Silverman? Do a search for "traffic lawyer". It's probably the only way you'll walk out of the courtroom with your license.

yes get a lawyer,If you dont,then invest in a soap on a rope..


Really though,get a lawyer.Dont think a public pretender will help you.

I had some friends go through this, and they got off with reckless for one and I believe careless for the other- they had different judges and one was more lenient. It was their impression that they would've been out of a license for a year if they hadn't gotten lawyers, and they would've spent nearly as much as the lawyer's fees paying fines.

1st offense they can take it for 10 days. Second offense they can keep it. When I say can, I mean just that, it's not mandatory, it depends on who your lawyer plays golf with on the weekends

(c) Any motor vehicle used in violation of subsection (2) may be impounded for a period of 10 business days if a law enforcement officer has arrested and taken a person into custody pursuant to this subsection and the person being arrested is the registered owner or coowner of the motor vehicle. If the arresting officer finds that the criteria of this paragraph are met, the officer may immediately impound the motor vehicle. The provisions of paragraphs (a) and (b) shall be applicable to such impoundment.
(4) Any motor vehicle used in violation of subsection (2) by any person within 5 years after the date of a prior conviction of that person for a violation under subsection (2) may be seized and forfeited as provided by the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act. This subsection shall only be applicable if the owner of the motor vehicle is the person charged with violation of subsection (2).

man its ben like 7 years since i got a racing on the street ticket..maybe plead no contest
pay the fines keep your licence and ask for adujication withheld and you can allways just blast up the court room .. im sure they will forget about the traffic violation
