i'd say the ls7 or the Cobra motors.. both easily support over 600hp without blinking an eye.
i don't know much about the import motors though.

The LS7 makes way more than that Hemi. And how is an LS7 a race motor?

I know you have a new Dodge but come on... please get your head out of the clouds and open your eyes. Lets not get carried away.

Here if we're talkin motors here's one that can't be touched,540 HEMI producing 900 plus hp straight from the production line. Here's another stat for ya stock SRT-8 charger on street tires 13.04 @ 110mph.

That guy is obviously an idiot.

The LS7 and Dodge V10 are both production motors; therefore, get a good vote from me. Now, most people can't afford a Z06 or a Viper, so let's not leave out the little V8 in the Mustang GT, and the LS2 in the GTO and normal Corvette. I understand that Hemi in some of the Dodge cars is pretty beefy too.

Dude you really need to get off Dodge/Chrysler's nuts. No matter what it is you have to support them.

I gotta pick the 03/04 Cobra motor over the LS2/7 simply because its been out longer and more people are putting down high numbers on it. But give the Chevy(s) some time and no doubt theyll be up there.

Ya cause providing physical evidence of 900hp motor that you can get from parts catalog is so on their nuts, and it will beat anything that STi could dream accomplishing.

The '03/'04 Cobra motor is no longer a production motor. I think that's what this thread was about. So, unless they're still coming out of the production line, it's kind of useless to say. Ranks right in there with those concept motors that keep getting posted.

I really wanna put my vote in for the Chevy 427 that they stuck into the 60's 'vettes, but again, that's no longer a production motor too. Shit, the late 60's Camaro 302 was also a bad ass, but hey, they don't make them anymore either.

production engines and ordering parts from a factory backed catalog are NOT the same thing.

haha, agree with Frank. I was gonna sling some import motors out there but they no longer make them and who the F knows what the japs are stuffing in the cars nowadays. g13y8d16?
