I can't see people paying to ask-a-cop a question. Now if you were to have a forum with an attorney giving advice to people on how to beat tickets, you would probably have 2000 subscribers within a month

I think TR has come a very long way since I started viewing it in late 99 early 2000. I see no need to fix anything with the exception of the F/S, WTB, WTT that everyone else seems to have a problem with. And if Im allowed to do a little leg humping right now, Id like to say I love the mods/admin.

The reason I say cops is because there are already some on the site who can give some advice. Attorney's tend not to give "free" advice away. So we would have to have about 2000 people subscribing just to cover a couple of stupid questions.

REP SYSTEM=
Take it out,it has caused alot of problems between members, and its not needed here.TR is not a popularity contest.

ASK A COP=
I like the idea,it will help alot of us with legal issues. But I think we scared the 2 off that were here to help us.They would of been good here, cause we need some advice, and they have thier objective to educate they younger croud in results of street racing/DWI etc etc.

TRADER RAITINGS=
Can be a debateable issue.I think it can be bogus. If a person is going to scam, they can scam on Trader raitings too.UNLESS each raiting can be traced back to the link of sold/traded/bought items.

HOW TO FORUMS=
Will take away from each specific "technical" forum.IMO no go.

VIDEO FORUMS=
Is good how it is.Just as long no racial/hard core porn/ or things in that nature is not in there. We need our own "entertainment" on TR and shouldnt have to go to other sites lookin for it... I love the local vids... keep them coming. Sub forum them out might be a good idea.
1)Auto related
2)Funny etc etc..

VENDOR FORUMS=
I dont know how your guys vendor pay plan works, but if you know if we have a vendor whos going to be around for a while..
1)Make a Vendor forum/and sub for for each vendor.
To post thier "sales"/"meets"/"group buys" etc etc..

TR GARAGE=
By makes.. very good idea +1

TR STORE/TR ITEMS..
Alot of members want TR items.. I think it was Leslie, that mention to me a while back. That a cafepress?Would be a good idea thing. So that the staff dont have to take time out to make items.. You can get it from thier site, with the TR logo.
Mousepad/coffe mugs etc etc.,. I dont knwo the legal issues on that.So will an admin answer?

VOLVO FORUMS=
When I got to TR there was a few "Mazda" people. We had to get the member count up to get our own forum.Im pretty sure if you did the same.It will help your chances. So start getting Volvo people here

I have enjoyed my stay on TR so far, this is a great site. Take this feedback positively, as thats how it is intended.

I agree that TR and TF need to be seperated. I like TR, and cars, hence why I joined. TF on the other hand kinda pushes me away with the most popular, top rated, most reputable, popularity contest thing. I miss TR FFA, and for that reason, I find myself wandering over to TF. I also gotta get my technology section fix regularly.

Some of us non-teen guys aren't interested in the popularity contest going on over at TF. I dont want to update my profile everyday, and vie for attention. I actually want to do the opposite. I just want a place where I can talk about cars, let my belly hang out and relax, setup some track events, and meet people that share a common interest in cars.

My suggestion is to try to keep TR alive while building TF. You've done a great job guys, seriously. Just don't take too much from TR so that it mine as well just be a sub-section of TF. Find a balance that allows TR to be self-sustaining.

If you are a member on Volvo forum, look for local guys (Central FL) that would be a good start.
