i really like the trader rating. It helps me to be a little more confident about buying stuff over the forums.

One thing I would love to change is the page selection on the bottom right hand corner of the threads. There should be an option for "see all pages." I get tired of clicking each time I want to see a new page.

+1 on the rep point failure. The old system where you got awarded points for a lengthy post in a technical forum was pretty kickass, or maybe just combine the 2.

I agree that rep points could be done away with and we would suffer no great loss.

I have ALWAYS been supportive of separate forums for ebay finds and for car-related and non-car-related videos. Makes it much easier to browse. The ask a cop forum would be helpful to both us and the law enforcement in the area. We need to educate.
good points all around.

i love track day, and i think it would be cool if there were even more events like those. drift, autocross, whatever... i'm always interested in attending (spectating, haha). since i'm a gcc homebody, i may just not be aware of the events that are going on... but if that's the case, i vote for more publicizing of stuff involving tr people.

Overall I am very happy with TR/TF since I've joined here. Everything is basically set up fine IMO. BUT I think that there are a few moderators whom attitudes need adjusting, as GsEclipse stated earlier. Won't get into specifics, but other than that, it's fine just the way it is.

Oh and btw, it took everything in me to write in a serious manner.

I don’t like that idea IMO, there all videos so why separate them its not like there’s that much traffic in that section

I still think mitsu tech has stupid for sale rules cant bump it but every week , cant link something if you want, cant sell items in there if your not a normal poster in that section ... come this isn’t that NABR crap

^For one, there is quite a bit of traffic in The Video Post. Also, separating them into subforums will have twice as many "front page" videos, making for less reposts. Also, sometimes I go in there looking for the latest goofy bullshit on the internet, other times I just wanna see vids of how amazing the Skyline still is, or a clip of Ryan Woon's .01 second faster pass. You get the point.

Also, Instead of a Cars For Sale section in the H/A Tech forum, it would be better to have a H/A Forum in the Cars For Sale forum, as a car shopper is just an extra click away from another market, and someone unfamiliar with the site, or even just with the Honda community, would always assume to post their H/A or shop for a H/A in the CFS section, rather than going through H/A Tech.

A How-To/Tech Article/Write Up section would be GREAT for this site. Education eliminates ricers, and makes a generally more respectable community. I'm thinking it would be a section specifically for posting helpful information, whether pulled from another site or written up by a TR member. Anything from oil changes to spark plug gapping to turbo explanations, etc. We all have something to learn, and many of us have something we could teach.

It would also be nice if you could browse the garages by make or model.

Glad to see people agree with me on scrapping the rep system. Rep points, please!
