damn that's sick, too bad it's already overpriced, overweight and has crappy reliability ratings.


All those factors will probably hold Mitsubishi back from doing anything else to the current eclipse except for let it run out this design and try again in 5 years.

 

yes i also like the 1st but the second did look good .but they are finally getting the idea of what the eclipse was and is in the scene.

but the one reason i doubt it will go in production:

nobody drives the new eclipse..
i have seen more murcielago's on the road than the new eclipse's..

First ever vr4 was in the mitsubishi galants. 4g63 turbo awd aws. VR4 stans for Viscus Real 4. They only imported these in 2 years(91-92) and then the vr4 name went onto the v6 galants over in japan and the 3000gt over here. Both of which are twin turbo, awd(not sure about aws but that was part of the real meaning for vr4).

 

i think the older eclipse was better but for the direction they where going in with the eclipse this would do much better for there sales and the dsm fans.

 

It looks ok, but even if it does make production how much will it cost? As much as an Evo? Or about the same as the V6?

That wing is horrendous, it would probably look better wingless or a lip on there, I think it looks ok, dual exhaust is ugly to me.

I don't see it coming out anytime soon, but if it does I may have to try and get one. I might actually forgive Mitsubishi if they release this.

 

if it weren't for the weight I'd take that over an EVO anyday.
