i write the words "could not dupicate concern", "could not verify complaint" at least 4 times a day.
people get ridiculous sometimes.

 

Tell me about it. Shortly after the hurricanes last year when everyone spent those nice big checks on a new vehicle instead of their houses we started getting interesting complaints, my favorites:

1. The brakes continuely go all the way to the floor, but they managed to drive to the dealership with no problem.
2. My F350 shifts funny when towing, no shit you're pulling twice what its rated for dumbass.
3. My car keeps not starting, duh you keep frying the computer(which till this day I have no clue how he did it).

 

It's not as easy as it reads. Very very very rarely has anyone ever been able to lemon law a car. We get maybe 1, if that a year that goes to arbritration. I hear the saying "I'm gonna lemon-law it" quite a bit sitting on the service drive now. I get a little chuckle everytime.

I do admit that some cars have demons, and people have a legit case. There is a Crossfire haunting us now. But you have to look at he type of vehicle. Higher price class cars have much more of a chance at lemon-law than econo boxes.

Most cases of people wanting to lemon-law their car is because they are upside down in it after 6 months. aka buyers remorse.

 

i use to work for crown Mits in st pete. all florida lemon law cases came through their. even if you have a legit case its very hard to get them to side with you. even if their is a history of the problem they usually dont side with you.

 

the last 6 post are soooooo true. Customer comes in all the time with pages of C/S this C/S that for 2 pages.

Job A : C/S brakes failed which caused her to hit the car in front of her.

This is one of them out of many. I don't remember them all because this was awhile ago. But some of these people have no idea or just nothing else better to complain about for having such a nice car. I think I remember her actually complaing on the design of the slidding doors and her 5 year old kid not being able to open the rear doors from the inside. Would you want your kid opening the rear doors, maybe even when your driving?!?!?

 

the other day i had "customer states floor under glovebox is wet" no big deal, i just figured the ac drain got clogged.

no.

they spilled a drink. it still smelled like coffee.

i wanted to instead of the 3 c's. (concern, cause, correction" just write "yes it is"

 

hahaha i wish you could do that. people are frigin morons.

 

Our idoit complaint of last week was a guy who was upset that he was spending a lot of money latley on gas for his car. So the service advisor writes it up "customer complains of the cost of fuel"
