well when you put a new (06) zo6 that runs 11.3 stock against a car that runs 12.0 and weights more and is not half as advanced as the vette the vette wins.stock 4 stock.the vipers nice man but its not god sent.theres videos around that u can find of them both racing.when we get some in at castriota i'll let u know and well play.

The LS7 has to be held to the new SAE guidelines for rating power. It will not be allowed to deviate from the factory advertised rating of 505HP by more than 1-2%

So yes, the 500HP Z06 will wax that ass. And is like what? 40% cheaper? And looks nicer.

When the Z06 finally hits the street real world bone numbers will be in the high 11s - just like the Viper. Excellent no doubt, but it's been amusing to see how much faster it's been getting over the past year before it was even released.

As for "waxing", drag racers call any win a "wax" whether it's by a car length or by a blonde hair. 06 Vipers vs 06 Z06 will come down to driver.

 

saw the red one this morning on my way to work in tarpon . sounds so nice but i couldnt hear the sc.. any problems with cops and the noise?
