Corolla XRS
SE-Rs have problems still? Sucking shit into the engine or w/e, I don't feel like having to buy a header cause nissan got lazy in the factory.
I'll probably go test drive both. Anyone elses opinions?

a good friend of mine bought an '03 spec v. awesome car, really. only thing is, he payed right around twenty-two for it, which put it well out of the price range of any corolla. if they're now going for what people say they are, i would definitely pick one over the corolla.

Hah, that reminds me...friend of mine with a Spec V recentlu blew up his engine which was replaced for free under warranty. He's kind agressive, but now that I think about it hes nowhere near stupid enough for it to be his fault...

Seeing the prices and specs between the two. Im gonna go with a spec V, corolla is boring and just a car to get you around. Only thing I do like over it is the more roomy interior.
The Spec V is a very nice handler. I watched a young couple co drive one together at an auto-x and I believe all they had was Azenis on it, and they set down some impressive times, even the girl was only a 2nd or two behind her man.

for the record I'd pick the Corolla. Simply because of the gas mileage. Spec V's eat gas compared to its brethren competition.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
I dunno the new corollas are like trucks, sit to high and all i see driving them is high school girls, and the Spec v my freind has already went through two motors, id go with the viper or gto.....
