is it worth selling a car to carmax?

There has not been and never will be a lowered or lifted vehicle on our lot that was not done from the factory. For example, cobras have a sportier suspension than a coupe, thats ok. An FX4 F-150 has a more lifted suspension and rachero shocks from the factory and thats ok. So no lowered cars EVER. If you think you see one let us know and we will put back on the lift and check the compresion of the springs to ensure factory specs. Hope this helps.

There is a good chance that lowered GT was a Roush. Seen a few Roush Mustangs for sale at Carmax in the past.

Good point Alan. We has since stop selling Roush mustangs of any stage due to the same issues as a typical lowered car. But in the past we have sold stage 1 and 2.
