my friends got a 98 s-10 pickup with a 4.3. he's got some things done to it, but in a month he is getting a $34,000 settlement, so hes gonna supercharge his truck for a start, he wants to go with a vortech or procharger system, if theres anyone out there that has advice on which one is best for his application, do to your past experience perhaps, write me back. thanks.

They swear by the procharger system.

 

I've seen more power gains with Procharger set-ups over Vortech, but they are both good IMO.

 

pro-charger is my vote

 

Forget a supercharger and drop a built SBC into it...............

 

how about just buying a used cobra for 20k and using the other 14 to give that beast 600hp thats just my opinion
