Best trash talk ever was back in November when I was in Homestead for the final NASCAR Nextel Cup race. 
I don't follow the shit, I was just there for the noise and the crashes, but I guess a Ford driver won. As soon as he crossed the line, some guy with a mullet yelled, "FORD MOTHER FUCKER!" I guess that angered the Chevy, "enthusiast," next to him and a fist fight ensued. I laughed about it the rest of the day. Good thing nobody found out I drive a Camaro, huh?

thats going off topic when the basis of the article is going 12s in the quarter in a Elise. Now if the article said "flogging an Elise" things might be different. But when the basic discussion is of drag racing, tossing any thing else is null and void unless the discussion is for that. Imports and domestics are all guilty of this. I try and stick with the exact topic and not toss anything else, unless I give a side note about it.
its like when ppl discuss a budget car build up. A lot of ppl will mention such a car, toss nitrous on it and you will meet your goal cheaper than anything else. . Then you have the Honda guys saying it will be have shitty mileage, the nissan guys saying it wont handle, the Subie guys saying it will drive horribly in the rain, the BMW guys saying it has a lack luster interior, the GM guys saying it needs nitrous to do it... etc...
