Tampa Area Dynos?
yeah i was wondering about the number differance with costals and the normal dynojet. when i stopped by sams shop before to pick up an hpipe, every car i seen in the shop looked very nice and was very clean. eventhough sam is about an hour from me, i think i would prefer to take my car to him over anyone else if i get work done that i cant do just because of all the praise i have heard
Not to be left off the list, we've had a few years experience tuning cars also.
No question about it.
RevXtreme is the place to dyno!! Good equipment and good people.

Also does anyone know what the number differences are
Everyone here has been talking up Coastal but no one knows how different the numbers would be?
I was wondering prices as well...assuming they are all within like $5 of each other?

You cant reflash a 5.0 computer, you reburn/burn a chip for it.
The one time I heard Sam talking about the different #s be brought he did a VW dyno day and some of the guys had dynoed at a Dynojet shop and sames #s were within 1-3 hp with his on the dynojet setting.
Every dyno is different though.

My most recent memory was with Brents coupe which dynoed I think 1-2 HP difference between my inertia base dyno setting and Race Relateds Dynojet. And Vinces FRC dynoed 480 here and 480 at RX last week, so I'd say its less than 1% difference in most cases.

BTW, I had my car dynoed at Coastal at a TR dyno day, and Sam was very helpful and even pulled plugs on my car to see if it was running lean.
Both are great shops.
