I'm also interested in to why you would not go to Coastal. Did someone have something bad to say? If so, what may I ask?

R & R is my fave by far. The guys down there are awesome, they really take their time and know their stuff. It's also really laid back, I think 3-4 people work there and are there everyday but Sunday I believe. Its bike shop though so if you are asking for your mustang then their dyno may not work. If I remmeber correctly its only big enough for a bike, but I could be wrong. But give them a call to find out for sure. They're located just off of the 50th st exit on I4 (exit 3). 662-9850. Good luck

Thanks for your replys everyone. You've all been a great help.

As far as Coastal, I met a guy down here who had some various work done there and I saw it, didn't look very well done and he wasn't very happy with the customer service. I've heard other bad things from people, but I never saw their cars and the work that was done.

To be fair though I've heard a few good things about them though, just more bad than good. If they have the only Mustang dyno in the area though, I may go there ONLY to dyno.

hmm.. I have dynoed at sams many of times and he has gone out of his way to fit me in there on the dyno. I have honestly never heard of anyone being disappointed with sam's work. But there are those few cases. i myself have had problems with another shop that was somewhat resolved but I just didnt like the way it was handled. They are all great bunch of guys it was just one of those shitty situations. I think you should actually go to sam's shop and look around for yourself and talk to him. i am sure you will be pleasently suprised.

this is a real shock to me, Coastal is by far the best shop in the area, and I have never heard one bad thing from anyone about them. Sam has always gone out of his way to help me, even coming to another county to trailer my car back when I blew up the clutch and had no way of getting it to him. i think you need to drop a name and some real facts before you come on here questioning the integrity of one of the few outstanding facilities in the area. sounds to me like you may have gotten some very bad information.

Again everyone thanks for the info. With so many of you guys being happy with Coastal I may go ahead and stop by to use the dyno and then if I'm impressed I don't see a problem using them. I guess even the best shops can't please everyone.

Also with Coastal being a mustang dyno, how much different will the numbers, and will they be more or less?

they can give you loaded numbers or dynojet numbers your choice. i know sam prefers to tune loaded but most people want unloaded numbers for comparison with other peoples set ups.
