Thanks guys, I already contacted the St.Pete Police. They are aware of the situation. Again, for the useless post that were on this thread... It reallly didn't help much. Basically, I trusted the guy and I fell for it. I have learned from my mistake. And plus, Iv'e heard it a million times already. I am staying on the cop's asses on this one also. I just hope we can find the guy. Apparently, he's been using the other stolen checks for other various things.

Good News...
Sunday Morning at about 4:00am we caught the guy who stole my car. His user name on here is sp33d3r and OrlandoStrRacing. Thanks to the help of my friends and most importantly a person on this boards.(He stays anoynomous unless he speaks up) We were able to run a little sting operation w/ the locals at St. Pete. There's was about 7 police officers who caught "Driss" (Name of the Thief) @ 4:00am this morning. Good news is that, my car is in one piece, and it runs as perfect as the day it got in the criminals hands.
Charges against Driss:
Warrent from a previous vehicle
Grand Theft Auto - my hatch
Stolen Checks
Dunno if they said anything about narcotics in the house aswell.
I am extremely tired, and I just wanted to inform TR, how everything went and how TR helped me get my car back. If it weren't for this boards my car would have probably ended up in the chop shop. -Good Night!

a check in Florida and a field goal attempt by Martin Gramaticca, both seem to be no good in this town. I only take certified checks or cash, better yet, get a paypal account and stop the insanity. costs you a couple of bucks but no headaches either. GL getting your car or cash, by the way in the state of fl i believe you can sue for upto 5 times the face value of a bad check...Morgan Collin and Gilbert For the People
